Meet Eric, Living Loud & Proud
In 1987, I was in a car accident and spent seven weeks in a coma. I twisted my brain stem and cracked my skull and now have tremors and ataxia. Before my accident, I was the average kid doing his best in life. I was popular. People don't know what I went through. I look the same, but I have troubles acting the same because of the Traumatic Brain Injury I suffered.
Many people feel sorry for me, I can see it in their faces, but I know that they don't understand. TBI holds me back from doing all the things we say and do. I must keep unsatisfied with how things are because there is always room for improvment.
Handicapable is a reinforcement to the statement, "We Are People".
